The C6 tuning and the open G tuning used on Dobros for bluegrass only differ by the additional string. Otherwise the intervals are the same.

Some good ideas here. Thanks a lot guys. I wonder how a Pbass pickup would work as it's split into 2 parts? Maybe they could be angled a bit to get the proper string spacing?

Has anybody ever seen tab for this song? I'm pretty new to the instrument (working with some books/CD's/DVD's) and I thought this old tune would be nice and slow and not too hard to get down.
