I have been programming steel sounds on my BOSS GT1000-Core, but maybe someone has made any good sounding G1000 patches they would like to share/swap?

One of the best steel players ever! Great tone (P/P wrap around 64?), super clean playing and the most beautiful licks. All his work on the Bobby Flores albums are superb.

I live just outside Oslo. I don't know of any Day setup players in Norway. I have 3 D-10's, but Emmons setup.

I thought Jimmy Day played steel on both those albums? Sure sounds like it.

I agree with your previous post Paul. The most important thing to probably most of us is how a steel sounds in a live band or in a busy mix.

A steel that sounds warm and full in the whole spectrum ...
