Thanks, Ian. It's a Texas Pedal Steel, all-pull. Newish guitar that I bought used a few months ago, and had set up by the builder. I haven't really used the RKL lever while I've been learning the bas ...

Thanks everyone. I don't have split tuning. I haven't changed string gauge. Both the raise and lower nylon hex nuts have some slack between them and the finger. The raise works fine, and is in tune.

Beginner here, with what I hope is a simple question:

I have a 10-string 3 & 5 E9 Emmons set-up, with the RKL lowering 6 to F# and raising 1 to G#. The RKL raises the 1st string perfectly, but ...

I bought my Indy 8 in 2004, and have never wanted another; the tone and sustain are awesome. I've got it in A6 these days, and I smile every time I play it!

Fellow newbie here.

If you can, record your own backing tracks on GarageBand or other software (or just use a looping pedal), so you can control the difficulty and the tempo to match your abilities ...

I had a Stage One, and it was a great introduction to the PSG. But I'd definitely buy from a forum member, rather than Reverb. I've bought two guitars here, and both transactions were flawlessly comp ...

I'm a home recording guy myself, and you've put together a nice mix on that one. Maybe bring up the steel a little, especially for the solo -- don't hide all that good playing!
