Serial number is inside on the end plate behind the C6th neck. The serial number is 2605. I would think the guitar is maple. Mahogany Formica sounds better. Ask anyone who owns a Martin D18. Smile ...

Thanks guys. I've been playing with my thumb pick back for many years. It eliminates more fiddly stuff for me by reducing the effect of that thumb joint.

My first Emmons was of the same era with the keystone tuner heads. It was a great guitar. I sorely wished I still had it.
