you know... I have a bunch of these speakers at my shop because I use them for bass amplifiers, but I had not considered putting one into an open back cabinet for pedal steel. I will try it!

if its original - it would be very common for the cap in the bias circuit to need replacing. That cap would affect both the volume and tremolo
