If you go to google.com/images and search for "plastic fingerpicks" you'll see many examples.
I've tried some at times over the years, but never found any to be satisfactory. |

Nylon is extremely hydrophilic (water-absorbing), so water based dyes like RIT fabric dyes work beautifully. They come in gazillion colors, plus you can mix them and create your own if desired.
