Is this one with a pickup cover, and if so have you looked under the cover to see how the pickup is sitting?

Here's what Williams guitars sets as standard...a pretty common setup. I happen to set LKV to E->F#, from what b0b suggested, that works for me, but you can choose what you do...the Williams setup ...

By the way, if you plug only into the ext jack with nothing in the main jack, there will be no sound and that is just how it works

Spoke to Tim about extensions. My Pedal Steel Mini is 8 ohms, he switched a while ago from 4, but what he said about the second speaker is that it would help dispersion but wouldn't make it louder.

I found that an older Moyo I had developed a scratchy squeak that was solved by a drip of oil...I don't remember exactly where I needed it, I think it was the bushing that the string goes around....

Trick I recently learned...ditch the spare one-spot and carry a Rockboard battery supply...will power all your 9v stuff and also solves the problem when your amp is near an outlet but your steel is no ...

Webbs are a great balance between features and cost...they have nice leather (get the 3" model) , the quick disconnect at headstock, and a cute little safety loop at endpin.

quilter site says the XLR out has a cabinet simulation function for a variety of speakers...worth a try...

OP- if nothing changed but the strings, could be a bad batch of them, if it wasn't overtuned try a different batch...

You are right, they made solid ones, I had one, weighed a ton...now made of poplar, I believe, and lighter...

You definitely need more leverage...and that also helps you to make tiny adjustments without overdoing it. Get one from Williams or PSG parts.

By the way, Tim also said that JBLs aren't for everyone - the extra note definition makes it hard to hide, you hear everything you play...and they are HEAVY!! MLA does the Hybrid on either a JBL or B ...
