Yep, you are correct, I was just pushing on the wrong sleeve, the upper part.....pretty obvious once done. Thank You sir. I build hot rods from scratch, but this pedal steel stuff is just too tricky ...

Anybody out there can tell me how to adjust pedal height on Carp Steel, I cannot figure out how to get the ball out of the socket so the threaded part can move.
