Looking to move the nut on a long scale fender double 8 to a short s scale and need the correct size fingerboard. Rollie

Looking to shorten scale so I do not break strings. I will leave the C6th neck alone. I need a fretboard for around a 23 inch what ever they are. Any help on this? I am going to move the nut in. Need ...
