I think your interpretation is for a different tuning. When I look at the picture you posted, I would guess at something like this: (high to low) E C A G E C Bb C.
So the top string in the picture ...

That was excellent! Motivated me to relearn that tune in a new key on dobro. Your F version is much more brain friendly on a string instrument than the usual Ab.
