Donny, I have been playing over 50 years and believe me it don't pass, have done many jobs under those circumstances and some I wished I was anywhere but there..you are right it is all of those things ...

I have used my profex11 with this set up for several years , you need the manual that comes with it, I donot have it now or I would go thru it for you , it works...

It is a profex 11 it sets to my left (key end of guitar) and does not hum at all until I use the three wire hook-up,then tried what Ken said and get no sound at all, if I go strait into amp from pedal ...
