I bought a rifle bag at Rural King for $18, and carry my legs,pedal rack & rods in that.
On more than one occasion, while setting up people have asked me if I plan to shoot up the club LOL!

You DO realize there are guitar players who actually pay good money to companies that will do that to their brand new guitars, don't you?

Playing pedal steel is like driving a stick shift, or like riding a motorcycle.

From the info I have gleaned here over the years, it seems that Carters have way too many problems to be considered reliable.
My LeGrande D-10 has never needed any adjustment in the 20 years I've own ...

Had that happen to me once or twice.
I told 'em "Too hard to change tuning on a steel;tune normally, or find another steeler"
Problem solved.

I have a Mullen D-10 and an Emmons volume pedal. The Mullen does NOT have the hole in the pedal bar OR the fingers for the pedal legs, so I can't mount the Emmons pedal to the pedal bar; I hafta use a ...
