I have had good luck finding old late 60s early 70s Bandmaster and Showman cabs that no one wants (the big ones!)really cheap and parting them out for tolex, wood and grillcloth.

I'd say no on the tubing. That should be built from rod. Drilled, tapped and machined on the wire connection end.
