If you can get an original BL705 with the chrome surround you won't get a better pick up although I believe they are quite hard to source these days. Wallace Tru tone are also a great pick up.

I think I am the odd one out here, the cube doesn't work for me at all, the line out has such a weak signal that it just doesn't work going into and through the pa.Putting a mic on it just don't work ...

Just love the low G# to E change at 2.12 on the second version, the very reason I put it on my guitar.

I have been thinking about puting a 705/710 on my Williams it's pre 400 series,did you have alter the appature that the pick up goes into or did it just slot straight in.

I have three steels :- Bennett D10 8X7
Williams D10 8x5
Bennett SD10 4X6

Since I changed the p/u on the SD10 from a Wallace TT to BL 705 I can' ...
