They sound phenomenal on the old Fender 1000 and 400 pedal steels. I don't see why there would be a problem using them for non-pedal steel.

You're probably going to want to raise your 6th string G# along with your 3rd string G# on pedal 5.

The person who wrote out the chords made a mistake. It should be just B minor, or the vi chord in whatever key you're in.
