The maple quad Jimmy is playing is a Wright custom. There is another clip of the guitar on one of the Ray Price vids as well. Maybe Chas Smith will chime in on this.

Is there any way to mount a post in the cavity under the cone where bridge sits to keep this from happening? I dont know how this would hinder the sound a Reso makes cause it would limit the vibration ...

Theres strings on that neck,,, it looks like their are only 6 strings on the Low side of the neck,,, you can see them in the headstock,,, looks like there might even be some fingers missing out of the ...

About 3 years ago I seen Buck at the Crystal Palace play a Resonater,,,I think it was on Togather Again, and he was perty good.

I heard they beat each other with music stands!!!
And at the Harmonica forume they get pretty heated about accordian effects and have pilloe fights!!!!

That Tommy Kizzah stuff is great. Ray, are you on any of the of the tracks on the CD you get from Tommy's daughter.

Shop around for a low wattage tube amp(vintage) and crank it up, that might be the sound your looking for.

Ray for me it was the Speedy West stuff that got me. I guess his take on "Lover" is one that gets me. I also could not get myself to learn another instrument, not like Ive even begun to lear ...

Nashvill Allstars jazz from the hills stuff is along some of the lines of the Mercurey stuff. Its on Bear Familey and only like 2 or 3 of the songs dont have Jerry on them.
