I have several old ones, but end up using the 1950 chrome Ric 6-string most because its tone is the most full and musical. It gets early Don Helms sound too. But with the chrome, I get distracted by m ...

Today's producers lack taste, that cheap thumpy kick drum has to go. They, along with the run-of-the-mill players, and the radio programmers don't even belong in the music business.

It would have to be a (US Custom-shop) built Bigsby to be right, as is the case with the other Gretsch models.

I've put one of my Deluxe-Eights in the E6 tuning and its kinda weird! I've been tryin' to figure out "Hey Good Lookin'", its not coming easy. Did Jerry Byrd play that one?
