The Gannaway "Stars of the Grand Ole Opry" videos from the '50s are neat cuz you can hear and watch.

Cindy Cashdollar has a neat one. Unlike her steel guitar videos, she is a natural on Dobro.

Today's producers lack taste, that cheap thumpy kick drum has to go. They, along with the run-of-the-mill players, and the radio programmers don't even belong in the music business.

It would have to be a (US Custom-shop) built Bigsby to be right, as is the case with the other Gretsch models.

I think six is better, nicer spacing, less bar friction, and you can still play all the tunes.

Seeing Hank Snow with that yellow suit singin' "Movin' On" changed me. A totally unique vocal style and his guitar pickin' is cool too.

I've put one of my Deluxe-Eights in the E6 tuning and its kinda weird! I've been tryin' to figure out "Hey Good Lookin'", its not coming easy. Did Jerry Byrd play that one?

I think its been covered here a while back, but I was wonderin' if anyone knows what Don Helms exact tunings were way back when he was playin' with Hank Williams?

Wow, maybe we'll have to pull out some nice old analog machines to record on. Then everyone would have to actually sing a song almost all the way through (like Patsy Cline did).
