Can't remember where I read that there was a Hawaiian Guitar School in Philly on Chestnut St in the 30s. Wondering of "Jack" was associated with it....

Reminds me of an Audiovox, those colored fret markers of a Vega, but I'd bet it was a period Aussie copy of a Ricky. I don't think it's worth a fortune, but it's kinda cool

My thought on capos (any type of guitar): when they come up with one that moves the dots on the neck appropriately I might start to use one.

Very cool, but the composition sounds to me to have the influences of where Gottschalk lived and travelled, New Orleans, Paris and the Caribbean, but not the Pacific.
