Bill Asher just finished the first round of the Asher Ben Harper Series II and I received mine in the mail today. I've posted some pics:

Has anyone here ever played a teardrop (pear-shaped) hawaiian lap steel? I'm curious about how the sound of these differ from a "normal" shaped Weissenborn-style. Thanks for your input.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I spoke with Bill Asher and he has teamed up (again) with Ben Harper to design a new lap steel model.
They based the new concept on the classic 59’ Gibson L ...
