Looking at the undercarraige I would say this was built by Ed when he was in Portsmouth, Ohio. Ed had parts for everything made!!! I see Sho~Bud and ZB parts on there. Clean her up and play it!!!

It appears that a few knee levers have been removed? I see some holes where something was mounted. Any thought ...

I used some 3 inch screws and the extension is black walnut. It's very sturdy. But the lap steel was a very inexpensive brand, so I was not worried about it. The benders cost more than the guitar... L ...

I just modified my lap steel for Peters bender. Interesting to find this conversation. FYI I am professional please do not try to modify your guitar like this

I think this is the guitar I bought from Gordon. Can you tell me more about the history? Also do you have the missing knee levers?
