I heard weird clicks and noise in my milkman creamer when it was too close to my wireless cable modem/router. Drove me nuts for awhile before I realized.

If it were me I'd lean towards FACEGACE to have the the IV as a root in the low end, though when I first learned C6 on 8 string I had ACEGACED.

I'd also just do the typical Emmons C6 changes. 3 ped ...

I have a jammed tuner on my William's string 10. Hard to get in there to replace- what size is this nut? Seems my 3/8 is too small and 7/16 is too big.

For home recording I use the Fender extension pack in Amplitube VST.
Not perfect but good enough in a mix context for home demos and convenient to just plug in direct to record instead of setting up ...

Lynn, I never really had 3rd string problems on my push pull. The longer keyhead has a more favorable angle on the string to the tuner I think. More an issue on newer guitars like my williams
