I gave the KL a fraction more and, Hey Presto, there it was: E to D-sharp and back on the 4th and 8th.

The only disquieting thing is that it was working just fine as it was for the last owner, Ju ...

Good New / Bad News

Good News: I found a vagrant .015 in my stash-o-strings. It was a Steel Mill string that Frenchy used to market.
It tuned up just fine to F#. I let it sit there overnight an ...

My gut feeling is option A
Also I think looks better and balanced.
On further thought
Option B would not be very resistant to pressure on the body away from the axis and would want to twist and po ...

I had some Grovers where the plastic cracked and despite the lifetime warranty I was unable to even make contact with them let alone make a claim.

Interesting academic discussion but I don’t see much reference chromatic very often these days. In the years past maybe, but now go with the flow and just call it E9 and consign chromatic to a histo ...

If you don’t wish to remove the lever I think your only option is to incorporate a clamp style fixing on the flag.

It’s a bit hard to tell but it looks like the groove jaws are Broken. That would mean a new finger or some grinding, drilling and adding pin for the hole of the string end to hook onto.

$105 compared to $250 is a no brainer. So what is the difference?
Also it would be nice to find something narrower for a s10/s12
Also the hard pelican style cases are actually quite heavy. If you ...
