Thanks-- I wonder why it doesn't seem to work--the pots and caps seem fine.

I have a mid-'50's Gibson Ultratone with 3 control pots in a row-- obviously 1 volume & 1 tone, but the 3rd-- furthest back-- doesn't seem to do anything. What's it for? Thanks for any help.
