Actually the pull rods are 1/8". my mistake, but even so, they need to thread thru at least one bellcrank to traverse all the way to the changer.

Depending on the brand of pot, sometimes it's best to -if poss--
just open the pot and put the stuff where it needs to go rather than flood it with liquid

I always take a birthday candle and rub it lightly on new strings in the bar area. Makes 'em feel like butter, and because it's a dry lube doesn't affect anything else---
