people really like the preamps in those. do you have a tape cartridge with it? you'll want to clean and demagnetize the tape path and tape heads as well.

I like the old bosstone plug-in fuzz. Easy to use, easy to adjust on the fly, simple setup, and didn't have annoying overtones that I experienced with other dirt boxes.

I like Fred's approach -

My only recourse was to stop playing when I felt I was being interfered with. That got the message through to the bandleader. Things are better now.

looking to buy or trade for a Gibson Dove. Prefer one with a pickup or electronics. Might consider a Hummingbird too
