Without a doubt! He has a very long list of significant accomplishments. He definitely left a mark on pop music as we've known it for several decades.

This is terrible news. Johnny, your albums with Jerry, Maurice and Tom Morrell are some of my favorite jazz performances of all time. Jerry was a top-notch musician in every respect.

I just read that David Sanborn has died at 78. Quite an iconic force in Contemporary Jazz. I saw him live back in 2009, that set was on fire! He will be missed.
