I have tried several suggestions but I have found that Armor All does the best job for me. Spray it on a rag and wipe in on then use a soft cloth to polish it off. YMMV | |

Also, never oil the barrels. They are meant to be dry. They should have resistance when turning. | |

I looked at my changer on my push pull which also has the whole tone raise on the first string and mine is not misaligned that way. So I think there is definitely an issue. | |
