Saw CS here (Scotland) a couple of times, with his mother, in a couple of little places in a village called Kinross.
Good gigs, at which he played only steel, all night, so lots of fun ...

Actually, you know two guys, Malcolm: my 1st steel was a White, S-10, 4+4.
As you say, wide string-spacing, but not uncomfortable. However, it was very heavy!
