For a stand-up solution, I'm using a AX-48 (Ultimate Support) keyboard stand. Very sturdy, kinda heavy, but I like it.

I would get a second opinion before trashing it. You can see there are a lot of different opinions about PCB tube amps. Find a shop that ain't skeered to work on them.

Manual says the volume is controlled by the device that's plugged into it. I pluged my ipod into it and it was scary loud. I always remember to check the volume now. Whoa!

Try the "Dyna Amp" setting for the amp model. I think it is supposed to be better for picking dynamics.
