I am back to the lap steel. My tuning is EGBDEGBD. The strings I have now are too slack. What string gauge should I put on here? The firmer the better for me.

no palming it does nothing but if i get to playing out or extra funds I may try the de-Hummer. Ummm how do I make sure the bridge is grounded?
