I have a 6140. I changed to E9 removed 2 pedals and added 4 knee levers. I like it just fine. It is rack and barrel, so it has the same issues as other rack and barrels.

Yes, it's the reverser. I didn't want to remove the pots and switch, but they were kind of in the way to put the lever where I wanted it.

Lee also had a pawn shop on Broadway in Nashville in late 70's or early 80's. I remember looking at a 6 string banjo he had there.
