Dan-Thanks for your input. I guess I have a hard time explaining what I need.

Ex: Bar at 5th fret(A) using strings 3&5 at the same time.


How does this equate to C# 7th of D?

Key of D using strings 3 & 5 at the....

DESCENDING

5th fret, AB down = I (D) or the IV of A

5th fret no ped = 7 (C#)

3rd fret no ped = 6 (B

5th fret no ped = 7 (C#)

ASCEND ...
