I've had acceptable results running to a mixing board and a PA amp and speaker(s) rather than an instrument amp and speaker(s).

I'm not enough of a sound tech to know why one sounds better than the ...

Norm was indeed there and in fine form. This was one of the best, if not THE best show I've seen in years.

Merle was great, sounded like he always has. Norm was up in the mix, playing his GFI.

I would stay away too. Far, far away.
You may be able to download a legitimate "free trial copy" from the PG Music site, but it will be limited in use.
