Thank you, Tom! I took a picture of Paul's changer end at a show a few years ago. Referencing that picture and his copedent, I was sure there had to be some tuning comps on the C6.

Thanks for all the responses. I've researched this some more, and found some pictures of Franklins with these on all pedals and some without any.

Should I put these on all 9 pedals? It's easy to ...

Thanks Jack, I'll take your word for it. I had this guitar signed by Paul Sr. a few years ago and I think he mentioned they weren't stock but couldn't remember for sure. I think I'll remove them.

Here’s a picture to clarify. Only the A, B, & C pedals have a tiny hole drilled for the hook end. The inconsistency makes me wonder if these were added later.

My Franklin D10 has MSA-style pedal return springs on A, B, and C. The rest don't have them. Is this stock?

There's a wealth of information on common tuning compensators for E9th, but I couldn't find much for C6th in the forum search.

Can anyone share Paul's tuning compensators for C6th?

Thanks, David. That's interesting that earlier Emmons had a 1/16" wall. I found a photo of a late model changer here on the forum and it seems they went to 1/8" at some point.

I'd like to gather information to help me predict how the wall thickness of the changer finger is related to tone and sustain.

Here's the dimension I'm curious about:

The axle brace is an cool and interesting idea. I wonder how much detuning can be resolved by choosing a stiffer steel alloy (one with a higher modulus of elasticity).

I'm not sure what kind of st ...

Do you mean the necks or the top part of a D10 body? I'm referring to the latter.
