I think the Newtone Alohas are no longer in production.

The Aloha's are still made here in UK and available direct from Newtone Strings but as a UK resident I don't know what the US availability ...

Like the others have said there's so much choice out there. If you can get a chance to try a Fender Champion 600 you won't be disapointed. For home use they are ideal and very compact too.

As I remember, Roger also did some recording with fiddle player Ray Legere of Canada.

Exactly Dave ...i have a Wechter and it has a spun cone sitting in there... nice enough, but I much prefer the bluesy tone ...

Only problem is that here in the UK they are hard to come by and when you do they are darned expensive in relation to US prices.
