I had the same too-wide-for-the-pickup-bed issue. Solved it by sawing off little rectangular corners on each side of the two 4X 4 sheets as pictured. I went upscale with leftover carpet becau ...

I have 2 sets of 3 round-end Landis picks. I'd thought the softer sound and feel was due to the sterling silver composition, but more likely it's as much due to the shape.

Love the feel, but I did ...

I play occasionally with a country praise band. Most of what we've done has been at "cowboy churches" and the folks attending are generally salt-of-the-earth country people. You'd expect the ...

Once I had to play in a stable ankle-deep in equal parts straw and horse-pucky. Luckily I have 2 carpeted 3/4" plywood sheets in my pickup bed so I laid them on the straw as shown, set up and got ...

A bit off topic from "Bayou", but here he is covering Ed Black's "Silver Threads" solo. Pretty much note-for-note, but with more right notes.

I'd use the F/X loop with double 1/4" cables. Used to do that with my 112 and DD-6 Sounded just a little cleaner than having everything in line.
