the thing is, its interacting of parts, i'd say,, good cone, then setup, especially guages is of most importance, then wood type and port design etc.

oh GOD dont get me started....
I tune straight up 440, It seems adjusted fretboard graphics would only work in 1 key for 1 tuning, theoretically speaking.

Ryan is awesome, terrific sense of detail and balance. I give luthiers as long as they want, I want my guitars trom non-stressed creators. But it does make you itch waiting................

they did change the pickup on newer ones. Paul Chandler is a good guy and might get you an old-style pickup.

I like the MOTS, but tinted lacquer would work to re-colour it.
