Jeffery, many of us roll off the mid range on our amps. Peavey has 2 knobs for this. One specifies the frequency; the other cuts or boosts in that frequency range.

Frank, since you have "extra" pedals for an extended E9, I recommend a "Zero-pedal" which flats the G#s to the left of the ABC pedals

This will give minor chords in "no-ped ...
