I still remain a fan of joe's playing on the live recording of "Gone On The Other Hand" by Charley Pride. I did not know him personally, but I have always heard nice comments about him.

If my memory serves me correctly, I believe Jack Smith did some recordings with them in the late 70's. Jack is a great player, I enjoyed the playing he did with them.

Hey Ques, In my opinion that is a big no-no. Also, anyone who has a regular habit of "sitting in" should at least carry their own picks and bar.
