Thanks Scott! That's actually exactly the slide I have. But mine doesn't have a hole to add weight to. I didn't see any such option available. Did you specifically ask for that?

Once the end block and rod are removed, you can remove the pedals and slide the spacers out of the tube. Here is what the pedal bar looks like disassembled:
