Ok, Tony, and of course anyone, what might be some of the effects of driving that preamp tube in the dbx376 hot, at say 3 0clock, vs lower at say 9-10 oclock.
I managed to pick one of these for cheap ...

Would these work on a (gulp) Maverick not only to replace the worn pot metal but to add a raise or lower on the Mav ?

Right ! Is there a way to replace/changer & linkage in a Mav, to raise and lower the Es mainly? So lets replace the whole underside, kit and kaboodle.
A simple system would be best, I could make ...
