I don't remember having this trouble when I played decades ago. Just starting back again, and no matter how I adjust it, can't seem to get it to stay on my middle finger.
Ideas or suggestions? Gorill ...

85 BPM in E ( or G ) will work.
I used to use BIAB and loved it. But it's too old now.

I posted earlier that my daughter got me a Recording King P-90 lap steel.
I have 2 problems...
One, it sounds okay, but it doesn't really sound like a steel. I had a # of lap steels when I was young ...

My daughter ( bless her heart ), bought me a Recording King lap steel for my retirement.
I'm wondering why when I look at string sets, the thicker ones say G tuning.
Couldn't I use them for Open E? ...
