We sometimes get a request for a Johny Cash song and I would love to have a go at Ring of fire and playing the trumpet part on steel guitar. Any suggestions on how to get a sound close to that part?

Likely the best thing that’s easy to install, sounds close to a dobro (but still slightly lap steelish because it’s a surface mounted humbucker) is the made in Oregon Krivo Resophonic pickup.
