That looks like an un-shielded speaker cable, used from power amp to speaker cabinet.

Since the top two strings of E9 are so different from a regular straight steel tuning, it would be a very good idea to get started by tuning your guitar that way.

Truetone on the E9 neck in my Emmons PP sounds very good.

I've got P4 working both necks on my Williams, but the E9 side is only two strings. A little stiff, but not bad.

MXR 90 distorted for me even after placing in line after volume pedal. EHX Small Stone seems to work ok.

It's the wrist/arm angle...the motion can't be the same as six-string.
