I have a middle D on my C6th anyway. If I had to play a U-12, I'd keep the D and do without the low B. Hey, wait a minute! That would make it Extended E9th, which is what I play anyway! | |

If you have gauged nut rollers, you'll have to get a new set for the thicker strings.
Make sure that the guitar supports triple raises. Most C6th copedents these days raise the A to B on pedals 4 ... |

I added them to the Forum catalog about a year ago. The Boomers (nickel wound) seem to be the best sellers. I haven't tried them personally, but haven't had any complaints about them either. | |
