Is the contact surface the string rides on the problem?

Or did the 3rd string finger break the pin, And a smaller pin was put in the finger, Which does not hold string proper?

Thanks Bruce, My guitars are older with a different set up on the pedal rod connectors.
With the Machine screws and looks like Nyloc nuts. That setup will last many years, With no problems.

If you go on the internet and search Speedy West steel guitar tuning. It will come up some tunings. He used a Bigsby guitar early and used some strange tunings, Some sound like early hawian tunings.
