Just saw the bad news on FB. Not a steel player, but a real part of country music for decades.

My guess, Dicky Overby.

Although posted and responded to on Facebook, I have not seen it posted here.
Thought many of his friends and/or fans on the Forum may not have received the word, so I'm posting here, just in case.

I was so anxious to watch/listen to the video, and the steeler, I passed right over your mention of Dawn, Micky.
Senior moment. Anyway, a sincere Thank You for posting this great video.

Not sure when this was taped, but the female back-up singer has, IMO, an uncanny resemblance to the wonderful late Dawn Sears.

I didn't catch the show/network, but did watch a very nice, if too short, tribute to Jean this morning. Loved all aspects of her singing and songs, and especially watching her keep time with her hand ...
