You might want to check out this Stevens bar. That bar is under $30......pretty sure it's the hand holding the bar that makes the difference.

It's easier to make slants with a round bar.

But harder to hang on to....at least for me!

A small downside is that when dissasembled for transport, the 8" leg braces will still be attached.
Or, as I plan to do, just carry the stand in the back of a pickup, still assembled.
