RIP bOb...condolences to his family.

He traded in the Bakelite for a new Fender Dual 8 in 1949, I still have the Fender.

Larry put knee levers on my first good steel, a Blanton, in the 80's..just a super nice guy and a great repairman.

I really don't know the exact timeline for this, as I said Ed came to California sometime in the 70's..this list is most likely prior to his move..this list could be from his time in Texas and possibl ...

I found this list in box that I got from the wife of the late Eddie Turner, Shreveport native and on staff at Louisiana Hayride in younger years, don't know the time frame of these numbers,I notice ...

Just a side note, many years ago I had Seymour Duncan rewind a very early trap pickup off my 1948 Dual 8... the center bobbin material was a time card!...

I do orders for the music store I work at,,,been trying to contact Guptill, I then contacted Deering Banjos, they may try to take on the line,hopefully.

I have a Williams S-11.......pickup selections are a bit limited though,

Wow ,thanks for reply after so much time. Gabby on Maui Girl !! ... that track has the most swinging steel on the LP imho, but all have great playing on them.

I have had mine done by Seymour Duncan, you may call MJ at the their custom shop....but I think she has Seymour himself do them, that can take some time though.

Larry Campbell...there are some videos on YouTube of a young Larry with Doug Sahm, in Scandinavia , he switches from fiddle to pedal steel on a couple songs...excellent playing on both instruments.
