Joe, #1043 was invoiced on August 24th, 1966 to Johnny Williams. It was the last guitar built in Phoenix Arizona before Zane moved to Scranton Arkansas.

I can tell you this. Serial #1111 Was invoiced on Feb. 2nd, 1968 to none other than Bobby Garrett. It was built by Zane in Scranton Arkansas. Bet it sounds great!!! Thats quite a find!!

Bill, If you are looking at the Anapeg that was Tom's that is for sale, that copedant has been changed from Tom's. It also has had 2 knees removed.

Tom did indeed have 2 separate changes on string 7. A knee lever that raised F# to G. his 1st pedal raised F# to G#.

Marv built one for me. Its Brazilian rosewood back and sides with a spruce top, Martin herringbone inlays. I love it and Marv is a great guy!!!!

Eric, this guitar would have been built in Phoenix under the Brumley.Simms era. I don't have any records past December of 68' but my guess is 75' or 76'. Looks like a real sweetheart!!!

Tom used a standard E9th tuning with the 11th string tuned to a low E. Here is his pedal and knee set-up.

P0-7th string, F# to G#
10th string, B to C#
